SUBSTANCE: method includes probing the sea surface containing test areas from an aviation carrier of a high-resolution digital video camera, linking the received frames to the topographic coordinates using the GPS/GLONASS navigation system, calculation of the area of the relief of the agitated surface, the creation of wind wave standards of test areas in the form of areas of the reliefs of the sequence of windows of |2×2| adjacent pixels of each image frame, calculation of the relief ratio of the test area and identical windows of the current image, selection by methods of spatial differentiation of isolines of contours of anomalies in contours of the current image, restoration by methods of Fourier transformation of spatial sectors of wind waves inside contours, calculation of the anomaly criterion as a product of the relief area relations and the ratio of the weighted average parts of the spatial spectra of the test and current sections, visualization of the identified anomalies on the contour map of the controlled zones.
EFFECT: accuracy, certainty, actuality, efficiency of detection of anomalous zones.
