FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to pediatrics, age physiology and hygiene, for monitoring individual body weight norms taking into account physical activity, as well as for early correction of the level of motor activity. Initially, in children of senior preschool age from 6 to 7 years and children of primary school age from 7 to 10 years inclusive, the I and II health groups the body weight in kilograms is determined. Then the average daily number of locomotions in thousands of steps is determined. Next, the level of habitual motor activity (HMA) is determined by the average daily number of locomotions in thousands of steps. Next, the coefficient of normative compliance of body weight to the daily number of locomotions is calculated using the formula: body weight in kg to the daily number of locomotions in thousands of steps. Then, based on the level of habitual motor activity, a centile distribution is carried out according to the coefficient of normative correspondence of body weight to the daily number of locomotions. Then, in the case of determining less than 25 or more than 75 centiles of the coefficient of normative compliance, recommendations are given to change the child’s motor activity.
EFFECT: method provides correction of the mass of children of senior preschool and primary school age by determining the proper level of motor activity.
