FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to paediatrics and age physiology, can be used in monitoring physical activity and health in children of senior preschool and primary school age, as well as for early prediction of various transient states. Method consists in determining the level of habitual motor activity by average daily number of locomotions. Using centile distribution and partial assessments of level of habitual motor activity for children of senior preschool age at age from 6 to 7 years inclusive and children of primary school age at age from 7 to 10 years inclusive of I and II health groups by means of the following sequence of actions: determining the level of habitual motor activity by the average daily number of locomotions in thousands of steps, using centile distributions; then the type of habitual motor activity is determined proceeding from the daily locomotion number in thousands of steps; if observing a low or high type of habitual motor activity, a partial centile evaluation is performed; risk groups I and II of the order are determined if observing a low or high type of level of habitual motor activity.

EFFECT: technical result is centile distribution and partial assessment of level of motor activity in children of senior preschool and primary school age, as well as determining a risk group of I and II order.
