FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and to sealed containers in which power sources (batteries) are placed, for transportation, storage and maintenance of batteries. This is especially relevant to a lithium-ion battery, because of the maintenance frequency of a lithium-ion battery, it is not advisable to remove it from the container each time. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that in an airtight container consisting of a base and lid, the base is made in the form of a radiator, and the lid is equipped with an electrical connector and a box with fuses containing fuses in each electrical circuit of the battery connector, in addition, the lid is installed on the base of the radiator by means of a pressure-seal gasket and is equipped with a fitting for equalizing the pressure inside the sealed container and environment when it is necessary to remove it to use the battery for its intended purpose.
EFFECT: technical result achieved in the proposed sealed container of a lithium-ion rechargeable battery for a spacecraft, is higher reliability of the battery by eliminating the failure of lithium-ion batteries during maintenance, as well as better sealing.
