HEAT-LOADED RADIO ELECTRONIC UNIT Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H05K7/20 H05K1/18

Abstract RU 2676080 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the design of on-board analog and digital devices with power supplies intended for operation as part of space vehicles. In thermally loaded electronic unit, which includes a heat dissipating base, fastening elements and a set of parallel flat pc boards (PCB), electrically interconnected, PCB is installed on heat dissipating base. Above them additional PCB are also placed with electrical radio elements. Sides of the heat dissipating base are heatsinks, on the side of which the heat dissipating base has corbellings, on which heat-conducting plate is rigidly fixed under additional PCB and which is fixed on heat dissipating base by means of fastening in form of studs. At the same time, on heat-conducting plate, in addition to the places of its fastening, a heat-absorbing coating is applied, which insulates electrically additional PCB from the plate. Heat-loaded electrical radioelements are installed as close as possible to places of attachment of heat-conducting plate, and heat dissipating base is installed on mounting surface through heat-conducting paste. On the outer surface of the unit, in addition to installation, a heat-absorbing coating is applied. At the same time, over the heat conducting plate with additional PCB horizontally heat dissipating base by means of studs installed at least one heat dissipating frame for electrical components, the sides of which are heatsinks. On the sides of heat dissipating base and heat-conducting frame, additional heatsinks are fixed, and a cover fixed on the heat dissipating frame, side additional heatsinks and heat dissipating base are connected together on the outer surfaces of bars by threaded connection.

EFFECT: improving the efficiency of electronic unit by improving heat dissipating from pc boards (PCB).
