SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for producing lappaconitine hydrobromide. Method of obtaining lappaconitine hydrobromide by alkaline treatment with 5 % soda solution of crushed vegetable raw materials, extraction with an organic solvent, distilling off the organic solvent extract, while the northern aconite roots are used as plant raw materials, benzene, toluene or methyl tert-butyl ether are used as the organic solvent, the residue after distillation of the solvent is treated with an alcoholic solution of hydrobromic acid with the release of lappaconitine hydrobromide or with acetone or ethanol, followed by the isolation of lappaconitine by crystallization, treating the latter with an alcoholic solution of hydrobromic acid to obtain lappaconitine hydrobromide.

EFFECT: above method reduces the number of process steps and increases the yield and purity of lappaconitine hydrobromide.
