SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices for generating neutrons with different energies and to methods for visualization using generated neutrons with different energies. In the method, a neutron diffraction device includes a neutron-generating apparatus for generating a neutron beam of a continuous energy spectrum; a neutron detector for receiving a neutron beam that penetrates the object under study to produce an electrical signal; a data acquisition circuit coupled to a neutron detector to convert an electrical signal into a digital signal and a data processing apparatus coupled with a data acquisition circuit for acquiring images of the object under study under the influence of neutrons of various energy spectra based on a digital signal.

EFFECT: increased detection sensitivity of the object being studied.
