FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrochromic materials of colours neutral to the human eye. According to the invention, an electrochromic material is proposed by the formula WO2.4-2.9:M1:E1:E2, wherein M1 is an alloying additive selected from Mo, Ti, Ni, Zr, V, Cr, Al, Nb, Ta, Co, Mn, E1 is an alloying additive selected from H, N, C, Si, Ge, P, B, and E2 is an alloying additive selected from H, N, C, Si, Ge, P, B, wherein E1≠E2. Also proposed is a method for manufacturing the electrochromic material.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of producing electrochromic materials with increased electronic and ionic conductivity, more intense colouring and a long operating life, as well as the possibility of producing materials in various shades of blue, gray, black and brown.
