FIELD: cutting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a slicer for cutting slices of the same thickness of the material being cut. Said slicer contains a slice width adjusting mechanism, provided with a slice width adjusting dial, which has a cylindrical shape and a screw portion on the outer peripheral surface and on which the rear surface of a movable supporting plate can be supported, a screw receiving hole that is made in one piece with the frame and engages with the screw portion, and a first rib on the rear surface of the movable supporting plate, which is fitted in the slice width adjusting dial.
EFFECT: as a result, slices of equal thickness are obtained.
