FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the implementation of Random Access (RA). In the RA method, at least one terminal transmits a resource allocation request having one or more preambles to the base station during one RA slot. Each terminal is configured to connect multiple preambles to send a request for resource allocation with higher priority, and fewer preambles for sending a request for resource allocation with lower priority. Base station (BS) determines the priority level of at least one resource allocation request based on the number of preambles included in that at least one resource allocation request. BS assigns uplink resources according to the specified at least one request for resource allocation and at least one priority level.
EFFECT: reducing transmission delays for terminals transmitting resource allocation requests for services sensitive to delays, and improving the handling of simultaneous resource allocation requests that can resolve conflicts during actual transmissions of multiple terminals.
