FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of sheets of textured electrical steel with reduced iron loss due to modification of the magnetic domain by thermal stress. Textured electrical steel sheet contains steel backing, forsterite base film and insulation coating, in this case the critical damaging shear stress τ between the main film and the steel substrate is 50 MPa or more. Sheet is obtained by hot rolling steel containing C 0.10 wt.% or less, Si 2.0–4.5 wt.% and Mn 0.005–1.0 wt.%, cold rolling the hot rolled sheet, decarburization annealing, applying an annealing separator containing MgO as the main component on the surface of the decarburized annealed sheet, the final annealing of the decarburized annealed sheet and applying an insulating coating.
EFFECT: proposed sheet of textured electrical steel has high insulating properties, laying ratio and magnetic properties without damage to the coating.
