FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the catalyst production method for the carbon oxide by water steam medium-temperature conversion, which may be used in the chemical industry in the nitrogen-hydrogen mixture production for the ammonium synthesis. Carbon monoxide by water vapor medium-temperature conversion catalyst production method consists in the iron-containing component with the copper compound mechanical activation, the granules drying, molding and calcining, at that, as the iron-containing component the metallic iron powder is used, and mechanical activation is carried out in the presence of oxalic acid with the metal/oxalic acid weight ratio of 0.5÷0.7 and achieving the metals dissolution degree of 80÷100 %, then adding 6.5÷20 wt.% Ca(OH)2 and mixing.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the specific surface area and catalytic activity.
