SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering, in particular to a method for combining a metallic material and a composite material using laser radiation. Method consists in making cuts on the metal material from the side in contact with the composite material in the longitudinal and / or transverse direction, tightly press the metal material to the composite overlap and heat the free surface of the metal material to reflow, acting along a path that coincides with the path of the notch, under the action of which, the surface of the matrix material of the composite material in the area of contact with the metallic material is heated to the transition temperature to the highly elastic state, being in which the matrix material of the composite material fills in the incisions on the surface of the metallic material, forming a mechanical one-piece hermetic joint.
EFFECT: invention provides a sealed mechanical permanent connection of a metal material with a composite material.
