FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for isolating extracellular vesicles from biological fluids, comprising separating cells and cell debris from a sample by centrifugation, adding to the resulting supernatant polyethylene glycol, mixing and incubating the mixture, precipitation of the target product by centrifugation. Method is characterized in that a solution is successively added to the resulting supernatant, containing NaCl to a final concentration of 0.15–0.3 M in the urine or 0.48–0.6 M in plasma, then a solution containing 1 M Tris HCl pH 7.0 to a final concentration of 50 mm, then dextran blue is added to the resulting solution with mol. mass of 2000 kDa to a final concentration of 4–8 mcg/ml, and polyethylene glycol with mol. weight of 20 kDa to a final concentration of 1.5–5.0 %.
EFFECT: reducing the duration of the method, increasing the yield of the target product.
