FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cartridge for processing a biological sample. Cartridge comprises a cartridge-body with a reaction chamber, a fluid inlet system and a fluid outlet system. There is an opening in the reaction chamber that can be closed by a substrate carrying a sample. Fluid inlet system ensures that at least one reagent fluid to the reaction chamber. Fluid inlet system, the reaction chamber with the substrate closing its opening, and the fluid outlet system are closed with respect to the exchange of liquids with the environment. Substrate is attachable to the cartridge-body by adhesion, gluing, an intermediate vacuum chamber, pressure or electromagnetic forces. Height of the reaction chamber above a substrate is less than 200 mcm, preferably less than 50 mcm.
EFFECT: ensures the closeness of the system, including the cartridge and the substrate, from the environment, no risk of introducing pollution into the sample from the environment or environmental pollution by the sample, reduction of reagent consumption, acceleration of the reaction and improvement of reproducibility in the industrial production of cartridges.
