SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods for conducting biochemical reactions. System for conducting biochemical reactions contains removable cartridge with a cartridge housing and including a hydraulic network located inside the cartridge housing, adapted to receive and hydraulically guide the biological sample to carry out at least one of the sample analysis and sample preparation, the removable cartridge has many layers stacked on top of each other with the formation of being in flow communication with the first hole of the sample channel, the removable cartridge also comprises a flow control valve that is operatively connected to the hydraulic network, the flow control valve comprises a valve cavity in fluid communication with the first hole and is movable between the first state and the second state relative to the valve cavity, with the first hole allowing the biological sample to flow through the valve cavity when the flow control valve is in the first state and the first hole is blocked to control the flow of a biological sample through the valve cavity when the flow control valve is in the second state, and the cartridge housing has a housing side that defines the appearance of the removable cartridge and allows functional access to the flow control valve; the main device having a control side made with the ability to interact detachably with the said side of the housing removable cartridge, and the said side of the housing and the control party together form the system interface when the removable cartridge and the main device interact with each other, while the main device includes a valve actuator that communicates with the flow control valve through the system interface, the valve actuator includes an elongated actuator housing that extends through the side of the housing into the cartridge housing; and a detection unit held by at least one of the removable cartridge and the main device, including an image detector and a reaction chamber, which is in flow communication with the hydraulic network, the image detector is configured to detect the reactions envisaged inside the reaction chamber.
EFFECT: technical result is the provision of automatic analysis without user intervention, as well as the expansion of the device's capabilities to perform certain protocols.
