FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, specifically to an antithrombotic material, which includes base material and coating material, wherein the coating material comprises: (I) a cationic polymer covalently bonded to the base material; (II) an anionic polymer and/or an anionic compound covalently bonded to cationic polymer (I); (III) a cationic polymer covalently bonded to an anionic polymer and/or anionic compound (II); and (IV) a compound with anticoagulant activity, which is heparin or a heparin derivative, and said compound is ionically bound to cationic polymer (III). Disclosed antithrombotic material is characterised by relative content of nitrogen atoms from 6.0 to 12.0 at% and relative content of sulphur atoms from 3.0 to 6.0 at% on the surface relative to the content of all atoms when measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), wherein the amount of heparin or heparin derivative on the surface, estimated based on activity against factor Xa after immersion in physiological saline for 30 minutes, is at least 30 mIU/cm2.
EFFECT: antithrombotic material is disclosed.
