FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of iron ore pellets. Blend the concentrate and binder with the main stream of the mixture. Skull is formed on the bottom of the pelletizer and the mixture is fed to the pelletizer in two streams. First batch stream is introduced into the gas stream and a gas/gas charge stream is formed. Pore-forming additives are supplied to the gas/gas charge stream, as which particles of vegetable origin crushed to an acicular state or agricultural waste with a particle length of 2–10 mm and a diameter of 0.1–2.0 mm in the amount of 1–10 % by weight of the mixture of the first stream are used. Zone occupied by said blend and that without it are formed at pelletizer bottom. Charge is sputtered on scull in the zone free of charge thus producing dense layer of wet charge. Divide the layer of wet charge on the germ. Carry out pelletizing embryos to pellets mixture of the second stream. Before feeding the pore-forming additives into the gas-charge charge stream, particles with a length of more than 5 mm are separated from their total mass. Dried them heated to a temperature of 100–300 °C gas, it is ground up to the state of vegetable flour and injected into the main stream of the charge with the help of the said gas.
EFFECT: invention provides for the formation of a uniform mesh reinforcing structure of the embryo, hardening the entire pellet.
