FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapeutic gymnastics, preventive medicine. Method includes deep cogged-wheel breathing in the form of upper, lower and full breathing with air retention during inhalation and exercise. First, lying in bed and sitting, the following physical exercises are performed – rubbing fingers, rotating hands, squeezing the fingers into a fist, tilting feet back and forth and to the sides, “bicycle” exercise, rubbing the abdomen around the navel, massage of the colon and rectum by pulling in the corresponding muscles, rubbing the paravertebral muscles, turning the head and feet right and left, lifting arms and legs upwards with their shaking, rubbing the palms of the hands, rubbing the palms of the face from the chin to the scalp, pressing the left, right leg to the chest together, rubbing the palms of the face from the nose to the ears and from the middle of the forehead to the ears, tilting the head to the left-right, on the chest and back. Then breathing exercises are performed in combination with physical exercises for the eyes and head, moreover, breathing is carried out by intermittent inhaling through the nose for 5–7 times with upper or lower breathing, and 3 intermittent inhalations into the lower part of the lungs. After that, 2–4 intermittent breaths to the upper part of the lungs with full breathing, after a full intermittent breath, breath is held for 10–20 seconds, followed by intermittent exhalation of air through tightly compressed lips for 12–18 seconds. During breath delays during the execution of the upper breath, 2 exercises for the eyes are performed successively: blinking and movement of the eyeballs from the lower position to the uppermost position and back. During performing of lower breathing, 4 exercises for the eyes are successively performed: the movement of the eyeballs to the left and back, to the right and back, diagonally to the left-to-right and back. During performing of full breathing, 2 exercises for the eyes are performed: circular movements of the eyeballs clockwise and counterclockwise, tapping the tips of the fingers of the left and right hands on the scalp from the forehead to the crown and back, to the neck and back, from the temples to the crown and back. After breathing exercises, physical exercises are performed in a standing position: raising and lowering the heels, pushing the body away from the wall with the help of hands, rotation of the shoulder joints, raising the right hand up and tilting the body to the left, raising the left hand up and tilting the body to the right, rotating the pelvis, swinging the legs, lifting dumbbells weighing 1 kg each, as well as 40–50 squats.
EFFECT: method provides an effective supply of oxygen to the body by increasing the volume of the lungs, optimizing the content of carbon dioxide in the blood, expanding the blood vessels.
