FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method involves simultaneous drilling of a group of holes with electrodes, where a grate of dielectric material is used as a pattern with holes, the cross-sectional area of each of which is not less than the minimum cross-sectional area of a drilled hole in the part from the electrode outlet side. The axes of the holes in the grate are aligned with the axes of the electrodes and, when drilled after opening the holes, the electrodes are moved in the feeding direction until any of the electrodes are pressed against the wall of the hole in the grate, the movement of which provides transmission of the signal of stopping the drilling process by means of a contact-type pressure gauge. The device comprises of electrodes with a feeding mechanism and is provided with a grate of dielectric material as a pattern with holes which axes are aligned with the electrode axes and the cross-sectional area of each hole is not less than the minimum cross-sectional area of the drilled hole in the part on the electrode outlet side thereof and of the contact-type pressure gauge, connected to the grate and to the electrode feeding mechanism and the drilling process switch.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of the electro-erosion group hole drilling of a metal part.
