FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to the welded structures from aluminum alloys production method. Method comprises application of coating on the joined surfaces and subsequent laser welding. Coating consists of mixed in equal proportions of tungsten, gadolinium and ytterbium powder. Coating thickness is chosen from the condition that the coating volume should be less than 15 % of the welding bath molten metal volume. After welding, it is also possible to apply an additional W-Al2O3 or Mo-Al2O3 radioprotective coating to the structure internal surface.

EFFECT: technical result consists in production of welded structures from aluminum alloys with preservation of radioprotective properties in the thermal cycle influence zone.
