FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the diesel engines fuel systems testing instruments. Proposed is the fuel injection characteristic recording device, comprising mounted on a nozzle 2 with a nut housing 1 with the internal volume, with the built therein fuel pressure detection sensor 3 and fuel from the housing draining nozzle 4. Device is equipped with the fuel line 5, with a length of at least half the product of the injection time and the pressure in the fuel pulse velocity, for the fuel from the housing draining. In the fuel line a valve 6 is installed for the excess fuel pressure maintaining in the range of 0.08–0.1 MPa and enabling the fuel into the measuring tank draining.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increase in the accuracy of the fuel injection characteristics recording by the diesel engine fuel system by eliminating the possibility of air entering into the device body during the periods between injections.
