FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flour-and-cereals industry. Moistening of grain is carried out with water supply in an amount ensuring moistening to 22–23 %, followed by high-speed vacuum build-up for 0.1–0.5 s to residual pressure 0.045–0.065 MPa. With the help of a screw of the vacuum unit, intensive mixing of the grain is performed, after which a high-speed supply of atmospheric air is carried out into the working chamber of the unit for 0.1–0.5 s. Next, the grain is fed into bunkers and is dragged into it for 5–7 hours. Then the grain is dried in a dryer at a drying agent temperature of 100–120 °C up to the moisture content of the grain 11.5–13.0 %.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce energy consumption for the implementation of the process of hydrothermal processing, to accelerate the process of hydrothermal treatment of oat grain and to increase the yield of finished products.
