FIELD: food industry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flour-and-cereals industry and may be used during oat grain peeling. In process of method for grain shells transfer into brittle condition preliminary vacuumizing of grain is performed, which is in perforated flexible shell with diameter of holes not exceeding diameter of grain. Shell is placed on a perforated partition of the upper vacuum chamber, sealed from above with an airtight film and evacuated from inside through the perforated partition to pressure of 0.02–0.03 MPa. Compressed air at pressure 1.2 MPa per grain is fed via nozzles arranged in chamber top part. Air is then forced into vacuum chamber to achieve atmospheric pressure therein and processed peeled grain is unloaded. Grain is separated using appropriate systems.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to reduce oat grain processing process due to HTT processes elimination.
