FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the short-term intense pulse pressures production technique and can be used for the rocket equipment samples testing for durability against the nuclear explosion (NE) X-rays (XR) mechanical (thermomechanical) effect. Preliminary installing and fixing the VF1 exploded foil on the sample outer surface and the VF2 exploded foil on the test sample inner surface, performing charging of the electric discharge circuit 1 storage capacitors C1 and electric discharge circuit 2 C2, then closing the K1 and K2 switching discharge switches, sample loading is performed on the outer and inner surfaces by pressure pulses with the required amplitudes Pm and durations tu, based on the conditions: Pm<4 GPa; tu<1 mcs.
EFFECT: ability to bring the samples to the NE XR mechanical action strength test conditions to the natural ones.
