FIELD: heat power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a power system and can be used in thermal power plants, boiler houses, etc. to ensure oil-free ignition and stabilization of combustion of pulverized coal. Vortex kindling pulverized coal burner contains outer channel 1 of pulverized coal, inside of which inner channel 2 of pulverized coal is mounted coaxially, and also rod electrodes 3, connected to source 5 of high voltage and forming between themselves interelectrode space 4. Inputs of channels 1 and 2 are connected to outlet of the vortex dust concentrator 6, equipped with rotary blades 7, dividing the flow of pulverized coal into two parts; an increased concentration of coal particles is created in the outer part of the stream, and in the inner part of the stream – a reduced concentration of coal particles, and pulverized coal with a high concentration of coal particles enters internal channel 2 of the burner, and pulverized coal with a low concentration of coal particles enters outer channel 1, and rod electrodes 3 are installed at exit of the inner channel 2 of pulverized coal.

EFFECT: improving the stability of ignition and combustion of pulverized coal at different loads (power) of the boiler and ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation of the vortex kindled pulverized coal burner on different types of coal.
