SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recognition and analysis of images in medicine and can be used in processing biomedical images and automation of scientific research. Automated system for analyzing angiographic images of the fundus comprises an initial digital angiographic images input unit, analyzing and isolating functional and structural indicators of an eye ground and a database connected to each other with possibility of information exchange and control with a processor. System includes a unit for preliminary processing of initial images. Means for analyzing and isolating functional and structural factors of the fundus comprises a unit for analyzing images of vessels, made with possibility of removing noise objects by area and elongation and constructing a frame of the selected vessels for further measurement of their width, and also a vascular isolation unit, the first output of which is connected to a unit for determining the morphometric characteristics of the vessels, and the second output – to the vascular ischemia isolation unit, output of the vascular ischemia zone isolation unit is connected to the input of the vascular ischemia parameters determination unit, the output of which and the output of the vascular morphometric characteristics determination unit are connected to the database.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables extending the class of ischemic zones to be isolated, providing the possibility of selecting on the image of vessels and determining their morphometric characteristics.
