FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a layered glass metal composite. Method involves formation of glass-metal package by laying alternating plates of aluminum or its alloy, pre-aged for 5–10 minutes in glass melt with glass transition temperature of 450–550 °C obtained in system B2O3-Na2O-Sb2O3, and cooled to room temperature, and sheet silicate glass. Then, the formed glass metal package is compacted and thermally treated at a glass transition temperature of silicate glass for 2–3 hours, followed by reducing the temperature to room temperature at rate of 4–6 °C/min.

EFFECT: increased resistance of glass-metal composite to destruction at dynamic loads due to increased adhesion between its layers at simultaneous reduction of total weight.
