METHOD FOR SCREENING DETERMINATION OF HIGH PROBABILITY AN ALLERGIC NATURE ASSOCIATED WITH HIGH LEVEL OF INTERLEUKIN-8 IN BLOOD IN CHILDREN WITH BRONCHOPULMONARY DISEASES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/49

Abstract RU 2684406 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to clinical diagnostics, and can be used for screening of high probability of presence of allergic nature of inflammation in bronchopulmonary diseases in children older than 2 years with high blood serum of interleukin-8. That is ensured by scarifying a portion of the epidermis on the palmar side of the forearm. Cell impression and an exudate of a skin aseptic inflammatory reaction are obtained on slides 6, 24 and 32 hours after scarification. Preparations are fixed with ethanol, stained according to Giemsa-Romanovsky method and microscoped at increase ×1,000. Maximum leukocyte count in the visual field is determined in all the preparations. Additionally, preparation produced 6 hours after scarification is used to determine leukocyte count with autolysis signs as percentage of total leukocyte count (autolysis index). Preparation produced 24 hours after scarification is used to determine the number of eosinophils as a percentage of total leukocytes and the maximum number of fibroblast cores in the field of vision. If the maximum leukocyte count is more than 26 in 6 hours from the moment of scarification, less than 94 in 24 hours and less than 85 in 32 hours and with an autolysis of less than 67 %, less than 0.3 % of eosinophils and less than 5 fibroblast cores, a high probability of having an allergic nature of the inflammation.

EFFECT: invention provides accessibility and objectivity of detection of allergic nature of inflammation associated with high level of interleukin-8 in blood in children with bronchopulmonary diseases.
