FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to floating installations for the extraction, storage and shipment of oil and can be used for drilling or repairing wells, extracting and storing hydrocarbons or for accommodating personnel. Floating installation comprises a hull, which may be round, oval, elliptical or polygonal. In this case, the hull consists of the lower surface, the upper surface of the deck and at least two related sections. In this case, two connected sections are connected in series and are located symmetrically about the vertical axis between the lower surface and the upper surface of the deck. Connected sections continue downward from the top surface of the deck towards the bottom surface. Related sections can have at least two of the following sections: the upper cylindrical part, the narrow section and the lower conic section, which serves to provide the body with improved hydrodynamic efficiency of the added mass due to linear and quadratic damping. In addition to the case, at least one edge is attached, which serves to ensure hydrodynamic efficiency due to linear and quadratic damping. Edge has the shape of a rectangular triangle in cross section. Lower edge of a rectangular triangle is in the same plane with the bottom surface of the housing. At the same time, the lower conic section provides the body with improved hydrodynamic efficiency of the added mass due to linear and quadratic damping.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the stability of the floating installation, as well as an improvement in the shipment of the product to the ship or tanker from the floating installation.
