FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry and biotechnology. Proposed is a method for reducing precipitation in a cell culture medium containing calcium and phosphate, while the medium retains its suitability for cell culture, moreover, this method includes adjusting the pH, limiting the total amount of calcium and/or limiting the total amount of phosphate in the cell culture medium before conducting a high-temperature short-time (HTST) treatment so that the formation of complexes consisting of calcium and phosphate is suppressed.
EFFECT: formation of precipitated calcium phosphate and precipitation of precipitated calcium phosphate is decreased and/or minimized.
