FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in hybrid vehicle drive systems. During engine operation, in response to driver request change, controller may decide on transition from one state of water injection to another with simultaneous application of compensation due to power reserve. Selection may depend on the combination of the state of water injection and compensation due to the power reserve ensuring the highest efficiency of the engine.
EFFECT: invention discloses methods and systems for mutual reinforcement of advantages of water injection into engine in hybrid vehicle system.
