FIELD: cutting.

SUBSTANCE: cutter comprises cutting plate with assembly of its attachment in holder, having recess made uniformly along perimeter of holder end on length from its butt end to protruding part with cutting plate and insert from material having high damping property. Holder end with a recess is placed in a metal cup made in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped with identical gaps along its base and walls. Gaps are filled with material of said insert, and holder is installed without contact with said cup. Barrel is composed of top and bottom conjugated splits symmetric about horizontal plane passing through longitudinal axis of holder with recess. In bases of both half-glasses there is one by one, and in walls there are two through threaded holes with adjusting and adjusting screws arranged in them, protruding into said insert by value of gaps between holder end with recess and assembled cup, with possibility of setting-adjusting screws release from threaded holes. Insert is made of two half-attachments arranged at a distance from each other and made from materials having the property of high damping and having different stiffness. First semi-insert is located at the end of the holder on the side of the base of the assembled cup, and the second one - on the opposite end of the holder with a recess; at that, the lengths of both half-attachments are less than half the length of the holder sample, and the rigidity of the first half-insert is greater than the rigidity of the second one.

EFFECT: higher quality of processing and reduced consumption of insert material.
