FIELD: processing of materials.
SUBSTANCE: cutter comprises cutting plate with its attachment in holder, placed in metal cup with identical gaps along its base and walls. Holder is set so that not to get in contact with the said cup. Holder end remote from the cutting plate is located in the closed resilient shell of vulcanised material. In outer wall of shell bottom cylindrical union is rigidly fixed. Height of said shell from inner bottom wall is less than half of holder length. Second end of the holder on the side of the cutting plate is located in the closed cylindrical elastic cover from vulcanised material with interconnected hollow side walls, the length of which is less than half of the holder length. In outer side wall of shell is rigidly fixed cylindrical union. Air is pumped through unions to walls of said shells until filling of gaps between them and sleeve and creation of required excess pressure for formation of single mechanical system holder – cylindrical shell with pumped compressed air – cup with possibility of infinitely variable variation by stiffness of cylindrical shell due to change of compressed air pressure in it, with the condition that the shell stiffness at the holder second end is less than the shell stiffness on the holder end remote from the cutting plate.
EFFECT: higher quality of processing and reduced consumption of vulcanised material.
