FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to sheet from non-textured electrical steel used as material of cores in engines, transformers and similar devices. Sheet has a chemical composition containing the following, wt%: C: 0.005 or less, Si: 4.5 or less, Mn: from 0.02 to 2.0, sol. Al: 2.0 or less, P: 0.2 or less, Ti: 0.007 or less, S: 0.005 or less, one or both of As and Pb: in total from 0.0005 to 0.005, balance – Fe and unavoidable impurities. Average grain size r in the sheet is in range of 40 mcm to 120 mcm. Ratio R of areas between total area of grains, characterized by grain size, making 1/6 or less from thickness of steel sheet, and the steel sheet cross-section area is 2 % or more, and the average grain size r in mcm and the R ratio of the areas in percentage satisfy the following expression: R > -2.4 × r + 200.
EFFECT: sheet is characterized by low losses in the core, including under conditions of inverter excitation.
