SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of piezoelectric crystal based on langate with high stability and high insulation properties for use as a piezoelectric element of pressure sensor for measurement of pressure during combustion inside internal combustion chamber. Method involves growth of monocrystal based on langate by Czochralski method by drawing the crystal upward from initial material solution, placed in platinum crucible in a growth atmosphere from a gas mixture containing more than 5 vol. % oxidising gas in an inert gas, using the Z-axis as the growth axis of the monocrystal.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain high-strength monocrystals based on langate, having crushing strength in the X-axis direction at 200 °C 1500 MPa or more and insulation resistance at 500 °C 3×109 Ohm · cm or more.
