SUBSTANCE: invention relates to intra prediction encoding/decoding of image. Disclosed is an apparatus for internal prediction of an image, which generates a prediction value by linear interpolation in the horizontal and vertical directions of the current prediction unit, comprising: coding information obtaining means configured to obtain reference samples, including a first angular sample, a second angular sample, a first side sample and a second lateral sample, wherein said reference samples are used to predict current sampling; and a prediction value determiner configured to determine a prediction value of the current sample based on the first angular sample, the second angular sample, the first side sample and the second side sample, current block is predicted by determining prediction values for samples included in current block.
EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of compressing images using different prediction directions.
