SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Device for image decoding comprises entropy decoder, receiving first information, which indicates internal prediction mode of luminance unit, and second information, which indicates internal prediction mode of chroma unit, corresponding to luminance unit from bit stream; and tool for internal prediction execution, which performs internal prediction with respect to luminance unit according to internal prediction mode of luminance unit, and with respect to chroma unit according to internal prediction mode of chroma unit, wherein tool for internal prediction execution determines quantity of adjacent pixels to be obtained according to current pixel position and specific direction, indicated by internal prediction mode of luminance unit, and obtains prediction value of current pixel based on said adjacent pixel, if number of adjacent pixels is equal to 1, and obtains prediction value of current pixel based on weighted average of adjacent pixels, if number of adjacent pixels is equal to 2.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improving efficiency of prediction image without increasing throughput.
