FIELD: ground construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a solid insulating material. Described is a solid insulating material which, together with an epoxy resin based anhydride impregnating composition, can be used to make an insulation system in a vacuum impregnation method, wherein it includes a substrate, a barrier material, a curing catalyst and an adhesive tape adhesive, wherein the curing catalyst and the adhesive tape adhesive are inert to each other, but in vacuum impregnation conditions are activated by reacting with an epoxy resin-based lead-free impregnating composition, at gelation time of 1 hour to 15 hours at impregnation temperature, wherein the hardening catalyst is a diimidazole derivative with a covalent bridge and/or a dipyrazole derivative with a covalent bridge bond. Invention also describes use of an insulation system and an electrical machine made using vacuum impregnation with a solid insulation material.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of thermomechanical and thermal properties of insulating material.
