FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used for prediction of hemic hypoxia in cytomegalovirus infection in pregnant women. That is ensured by analysing eicosapentaenoic acid content in blood erythrocytes by gas-liquid chromatography and superoxide dismutase (SOD) by spectrophotometry. Value of the discriminant function (D) is calculated and its boundary value which is -19.477 is determined. If D is equal to or greater than the boundary value, the absence of risk of hemic hypoxia in cytomegalovirus infection during pregnancy is predicted. If D is less than limit value, hemic hypoxia is predicted in case of cytomegalovirus infection in pregnancy.
EFFECT: method enables predicting hemic hypoxia in cytomegaloviral infection during pregnancy.
