SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used to determine aggressiveness of ovarian cancer. Signs of an unfavorable outcome are determined: a stage of the disease, a degree of differentiation of the tumor, a peritoneum and retroperitoneal lymph nodes, presence of distant metastases in lungs and liver, volume of surgical intervention, length of surgical intervention, CA-125 level before and after chemotherapy. Assessing the signs in points. A tumor aggressiveness level (S) is determined by the declared formula. If the value S is equal to 75 %, the first – low level of aggressiveness is determined. At 75–150 % – second – average aggression level. If the value is >150 % – the third one – high aggression level.

EFFECT: method enables accurate determination of aggressiveness of ovarian cancer by assessing a complex of the most significant signs of an unfavorable outcome.
