METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF PERITONEAL METASTASES OF GASTRIC CANCER Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2686689 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and aims at early diagnosis of gastric cancer metastases into peritoneum and omentum. During surgery for gastric cancer in tissue of greater omentum and peritoneum by enzyme immunoassay, content of CA-19.9 protein is determined, at its level in gland, equal to 1465.1±181.2 units/g of tissue and level in peritoneum tissue equal to 1234.5±105.6 units/g of tissue, development of these metastases in 4–6 months is predicted.

EFFECT: method enables the stage of surgical removal of the tumor to determine the nature of the further development of the malignant process in patients suffering gastric cancer.
