FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 1,2-dialkylboronanes of general formula (1) , where R = n-C5H11, n-C6H13, R1= n-C6H13, n-C8H17. Method involves interaction α-olefin (oct-1-ene, or dec-1en) with boron-containing reagent RBCl2⋅SMe2 (where R is specified above), by pre-obtained reaction of pent-1-ene or hex-1-ene with HBCl2⋅SMe2 at room temperature (~ 20–22 °C) for 3 hours. Reaction is carried out in the presence of Mg (powder) and catalyst Cp2TiCl2, in molar ratio RBCl2⋅SMe2:α-olefin: Mg: Cp2TiCl2= (10÷14):10:(20÷40):(1.8÷2.2), in tetrahydrofuran, in an inert atmosphere, with reaction mass cooling to 0 °C for 1 hour and subsequent stirring at temperature ~ 60–65 °C for 4–8 hours.
EFFECT: obtained compounds can be used as components of catalytic systems in oligomerisation and polymerisation of olefin, diene and acetylene hydrocarbons, as well as in fine organic and organometallic synthesis.
