FIELD: organoboron compounds production.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods for obtaining new framework organoboron compounds, namely to a method for producing spiro[adamantane-2,2'-boriranes] of formula (1a,b). According to the proposed method, dichloroborane RBCl2⋅SMe2, where R = cyclooctyl or exonorbornyl, previously obtained by the reaction of cis-cyclooctene or norbornene with НBCl2⋅SMe2 at room temperature approximately 20‒22°C in an inert atmosphere for 4 h, interacts with methylidenadamantane in the presence of a catalyst Cp2TiCl2 and Mg powder at a molar ratio of RBCl2⋅SMe2:methylideneadamantane:Mg:Cp2TiCl2 = (10÷12):10:10:(1.8÷2.2) in tetrahydrofuran and an inert atmosphere at a temperature of about 60°C for 6-8 hours subsequent oxidation with atmospheric oxygen.
EFFECT: resulting organoboron compounds can be used in medicinal chemistry as a synthetic block in the creation of drugs based on framework derivatives of boric acids.
