SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Performing combined laser-surgical treatment of primary open-angle glaucoma and complicated cataract, cataract phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation and micropulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation are performed using a diode laser in micropulse mode with wavelength of 810 nm and exposure of 80 s, along an arc of a circle with length of 160 degrees in the upper and lower hemisphere of the eyeball, concentrically to the limb, with a working cycle of 31.3%, pulse duration of 0.5 ms, period of 1.1 ms. First stage involves cataract phacoemulsification with implantation of an intraocular lens; the second stage involves micropulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation by means of a diode laser with laser energy of 1,200–2,500 mJ.

EFFECT: method enables improving and stabilizing visual functions, reducing a probability of developing a reactive increase in IOP, minimizing the risk of complications, reducing the length of hospital stay and rehabilitation period.
