FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to oral care. Soluble zinc polyphosphate complex is obtained by combining ingredients: zinc organic salt containing zinc lactate; and sodium hexametaphosphate, mixed in a solvent acceptable for use in the oral care composition, to form a transparent solution, in amounts which provide a molar ratio of phosphorus and zinc from 6:1 to 20:1. Also disclosed is a method of producing a zinc polyphosphate complex.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides blocking dentinal tubules, reducing sensitivity when applying compositions for oral cavity.
