FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices in the field of wireless communication, in particular to eNodeB (eNB), user equipment (UE) and methods of wireless communication for activation / deactivation of semi-static scheduling. Invention comprises circuit configured to populate semi-static scheduling (SPS) activation / deactivation field in downlink (DCI) with preset pattern of bits, and a transmitter configured to transmit a DCI to the first UE such that the first UE starts periodic signalling to the second UE or stops periodic signalling to the second UE based on the SPS activation / deactivation field, wherein DCI is in SPS format formed by using part or all bits of at least one DCI-format field 5 as SPS activation / deactivation field, and information to be transmitted in at least one field is indicated using or through RRC or MAC signalling.
EFFECT: facilitating identification of control information in DCI in SPS format for improving reliability of SPS activation / deactivation identification.
