FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Disclosed are systems and methods for improving combustion in an engine with high dilution of exhaust gases. Methods and systems can be realized in engine powered by two different types of fuel. In one of versions there proposed is method of engine operation, in which fuel is injected with lower concentration of hydrogen into group of cylinders and fuel injection value with higher concentration of hydrogen in one or more preset cylinders for recirculating exhaust gases in response to combustion stability in group of cylinders, which is lower than required combustion stability.
EFFECT: invention allows improving combustion stability in the engine.
