FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pyridine zirconium complex having general formula (I):
in which R1 and R2, identical or different, represent a hydrogen atom or are selected from C1-C20 alkyl groups, such as methyl, optionally substituted aryl groups, such as phenyl or phenyl, substituted with one or more methyl, isopropyl, tert-butyl groups, R3, R4, R5 and R6, identical to each other, represent a hydrogen atom, X1, X2 and X3, identical or different, represent a halogen atom, such as chlorine, bromine, iodine, or one of X1, X2 and X3 represents a group having general formula (II):
where R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 have same values as described above. Also disclosed are a catalyst system, a method for polymerisation of conjugated dienes and a method for polymerisation of 1,3-butadiene.
EFFECT: disclosed complex can be used in a catalyst system which enables to obtain polybutadiene with high content of 1,4-trans links.
