FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention concerns a bis-imine-titanium complex and its use in a catalytic system for (co)polymerization of conjugate dienes. A bis-imine-titanium complex is described, having the general formula (I):
,
where R1 and R2 are the same and are a hydrogen atom; or are selected from linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl groups selected from methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, iso-propyl, n-butyl, fluor-butyl, iso-butyl, tert-butyl, pentyl, hexyl, heptyl, octyl, n-nonyl, n-decyl, 2-butyloctyl, 5-methylhexyl, 4-ethylhexyl, 2-ethylheptyl, 2-ethylhexyl; R3 and R4 are the same and are selected from phenyl groups optionally substituted with linear or branched C1-C20 alkyl groups selected from methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, iso-propyl, n-butyl, fluor-butyl, iso-butyl, tert-butyl, pentyl, hexyl, heptyl, octyl, n-nonyl, n-decyl, 2-butyloctyl, 5-methylhexyl, 4-ethylhexyl, 2-ethylheptyl, 2-ethylhexyl; X1, X2, X3 and X4 are the same and are a halogen atom selected from chlorine, bromine, iodine; provided that when R1 and R2 are a methyl group, and X1, X2, X3 and X4 are a chlorine atom, then R3 and R4 differ from 2,6-di-iso-propylphenyl.
EFFECT: creation of a new bis-imine-titanium complex that can be used in a catalytic system capable of giving (co)polymers of conjugate dienes, such as polybutadiene with prevailing content of 1,4-cys fragments (i.e., the content of 1,4-cys fragments ≥ 60%).
